Buying Pro

The paywall opens from “Upgrade to Pro” in the side menu and from any limit you hit. It offers a monthly and a yearly plan, and the store you installed from takes the payment. A guest sees a notice first: Pro needs a real account, so sign up and everything you made comes along. The plan takes half a minute to switch.

Where Pro lives

Pro belongs to your Cookara account, not to the phone. Sign in on the tablet in the kitchen and the badge is there beside your name, with nothing to buy again. If a new phone shows Free although the store already charged you, “Restore purchases” in the paywall reconnects the purchase.

Changing or cancelling

“Manage subscription” in the side menu opens the customer centre: switch between monthly and yearly, cancel, or restore. A cancellation stops the next renewal. Pro runs to the end of the period you paid for, so cancel in the last week rather than the first. Deleting the app does not cancel. The store keeps charging until you do.
