Shopping list
One list on every device, checked off as you shop, in the units you bought.

What sits on the list
An item is a name and, if you want one, an amount. Start typing and your ingredient library offers matches. Pick one and the row carries its producer and unit. Anything else is free text: birthday candles, a box of gloves. A row can hold several units at once: 750 g from a recipe beside a pack added by hand.
- Library ingredients or anything typed
- Producer carried from the library
- Amounts in every unit it was added in
Checking off and clearing
There is one list on your account, and it is live. Tick the cream off in the shop, and it moves to the checked section on the phone at home the same moment. Checked items sit dimmed at the bottom until you clear them. The menu can also empty the whole list in one go.
- The same list on every signed-in device
- Checked items kept apart, one tap to clear
- Recently added or alphabetical order
- Items still to buy on the dashboard
One row per ingredient
Add 500 g of flour when the sponge already asked for 1 kg, and the row reads 1.5 kg. A new row appears only when the earlier copy is ticked. What you bought never mixes with what you still need. The cards above the list name each recipe feeding it, with a count when one was added twice.
- Amounts add up on the open row
- New row only after the old is ticked
- Each recipe named above the list
- The recipes behind each row
Changing an amount by hand
A row’s amount is the recipes’ share plus your own. Raise it and the extra is yours. The recipe part stays intact. Lower it below what the recipes asked for, and their share is dropped. The row is now yours alone, and removing that recipe later leaves it standing. Rows from the library keep their name. Only the amounts change.
- One field per unit on the row
- Extra above the recipes’ share is yours
- Cutting below it unlinks the recipes
Not in the app
Three things the list does not do:
- Keep more than one list
- Price what is on it
- Share with another account
Common questions
Why was my list not empty on the first day?
Because the example recipe’s ingredients are put there for you, at the amount of the example plan. Clear them from the menu and the list is yours.
Does a ticked item come back when I add the recipe again?
No. The ticked row stays in the checked section, and the recipe’s amount lands on a fresh row above, so what you already bought is not counted twice.
