Orders and baking together
Each day shows what is due and what you plan to bake, sorted by time. On the Saturday when a wedding cake is due at two, the morning’s sponge batches sit right above it. Switch between a single day and a seven-day week.
- Orders, production plans and notes together
- Sorted by time, untimed items last
- Day view or a seven-day week
Adding to a day
The “+” on a day adds an order, a production plan or a note. A note is text on a date: the market you are booked for, or the flour delivery. It becomes a plan once you add recipes. The cart icon on a day sends its planned ingredients to the shopping list. Plans and orders count towards your tier’s limits.
- An order, a production plan or a note
- Notes grow into plans later
- Whole day’s ingredients to the shopping list
- Tiered cakes are added inside the plan
Reminders on a plan
A production plan can carry a reminder: a date, a time and a short message. Set one for Thursday evening to take a sponge out to thaw. The notification opens the calendar on that plan. Reminders live on the phone that created them and do not follow you to a second device. Deleting the plan cancels them.
- Date, time and an optional message
- Defaults to the plan’s own time
- Tapping it opens the plan’s day
- Deleted with the plan
Not in the app
Three things the calendar does not do:
- Drag an item to another day
- Feed Google Calendar or iOS Calendar
- Remind your clients; reminders are for you only
Common questions
Why does my week start on Sunday?
Because the week follows the country in Settings, not the app language. Change the country and the week changes with it.
