Your first recipe
Start with the example recipe, then create your own and give it a yield.

What you start with
Your library is not empty on the first day. It holds one example recipe with priced ingredients, a photo and a category. There is also a production plan for today, a filled shopping list and a demo order with a client. Open the recipe and tap “+” next to the yield. The flour, the cost and the calories change together.
- One example recipe in your language
- Its ingredients, with prices
- A production plan dated today
- A demo order, client and product
What a recipe needs
A recipe needs a name and a yield. The yield is what one batch makes: twelve muffins, 1.4 kg of batter or one cake. Decide this before you add the first ingredient. Then type the ingredients. The app suggests what your library holds, and a new name becomes a new ingredient. Your cream-cheese frosting can go in as a sub-recipe.
- A name and a yield to begin
- Ingredients suggested from your library
- New ingredients created as you type
- Other recipes added as sub-recipes
Where cost and nutrition come from
A recipe lists ingredients and amounts. Each ingredient lives in your library as one record. The record holds price, nutrition, allergens and unit conversions. Enter them once for flour, and every recipe with flour uses them. From these records the recipe adds itself up. When a price or a conversion is missing, the total says so instead of guessing.
- Price paid and pack size
- Nutrition per 100 g and allergens
- Conversions such as a cup of flour
- Batch weight, cost and calories
Common questions
Can I delete the example recipe and the demo order?
Yes. They are ordinary records and delete like your own. The example plan and shopping list delete the same way.
